Draw the border

The results of the Silesian referendum in 1921 were interpreted in a number of ways. One thing was certain, on their basis, it was impossible do designate the Polish-German border in a way that would satisfy all the residents of Upper Silesia.

This interactive stand allows to suggest your own border line on the basis of the mother tongue of the inhabitants, the results of the plebiscite and the distribution of industrial centers.
You can draw the line with your finger over the map of the disputed territories. Afterwords, you can compare it with the actual historical proposals and the final boundary designated by the Conference of Ambassadors of the League of Nations.
